My daddy always said, “You can do it happy or sad soup-de-doop, but you have to do it.” I have found that to be so true throughout my life. A person’s perspective has everything to do with their happiness and their willingness to work hard and serve others. Working at Voyage Academy has most certainly been and very easy, “do it happy” for me. I LOVE the students with all my heart. Teaching them to love to read and to think about their choice of “doing it happy or sad” has been such a rewarding experience. I am so grateful to my daddy for teaching me that, no matter how much I don’t want to do something do it I must.
Now a little bit about me… I was raised on a farm in Idaho. A little piece of heaven it was. I am number 5 of 8 children. I love to go camping, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking and have recently added 4 wheeling to the mix. Nature nurtures me to a great degree. My mama taught me that. :) I have 4 of the most excellent children that ever graced this green earth. They are my reason for living I hope to be here at Voyage Academy until my hair turns white and my teeth fall out.
