My name is Victoria Buck. I am excited to join you this coming school year as one of Voyage Academy’s team members. Currently, I live in Clinton, Utah, with my husband Bryan, newborn daughter Sylvia, college son Samuel, and two cats Cheeto and Foxxy. We love the beauty and recreation of Utah and have lived here since 2015. We are a retired US Airforce family and support the armed forces wholeheartedly. My husband currently works as an F-16 fighter jet mechanic at Hill Airforce Base, while I have worked in the capacity as a Special Education Teacher with Granite and Ogden School Districts since moving to Utah. I have over 15 years of teaching experience as a nationally credentialed Child Development Associate Preschool Teacher to a USBE, professionally licensed Level 2 Mild/Moderate K-12+ Special Education Teacher. My alma maters include the University of Houston, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Learning and the University of Phoenix, where I received a Master of Arts in Education/Adult Education and Training. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and working on hobbies. Science and the Arts were always my favorite subjects, and I naturally gravitate towards these topics. I love to sing and wanted to pursue a career in music, but teaching is my ultimate calling. I have always wanted to devote my efforts to helping children and adults learn because knowledge fuels innovation and quality education can change lives for the better. I am a strong advocate for the rights of women, children, and individuals with disabilities. I will do all in my capacity to support the students I care for. I hope to meet every member of the Voyage Academy Family soon and learn more about you too.
